I received a rather colorful piece of fan mail recently. It included a death threat directed at me and everyone at The Armory. I turned it over to the authorities. The person then contacted me again to apologize and clarify they didn’t intend to follow through on the threat.
I’m posting about this because I think it’s important to be transparent with my readers about what comes with this job sometimes. I also want to say: to anyone who disagrees with what I do — I genuinely welcome conversation and questions. But threats are never okay.
To my readers who support me: thank you. It means everything.
